Gala
This variety is recorded in all areas of Moldovan fruit. The tree is characterized by good resistance to frost, drought and heat. The apple is medium size, with smooth skin, yellow-green covered by a red-orange streaked.Favorable harvesting period is between late August and early September. Fruits are resistant to handling and transport. The variety is very appreciated for fresh consumption. It may be stored in cold rooms for more than 180 days.
