Golden Delicious
This variety was discovered in West Virginia, USA. The apple is medium size, with slightly rough skin, yellowish-green. The pulp is white to cream or pale yellow, fine, juicy, crisp, sweet and slightly acidic. The recommended harvest period is between late September and early October. It may be stored in cold rooms between 160-220 days. In addition to considering fresh, this variety is used in industrialization.
