Morren’s Jonagored
It is a variety discovered in Belgium by Jos Morren. The variety is distinguished by the conical shape, size large, slightly rough peel, yellow-green, covered with red streaked on more than half of the fruit. Apple pulp is white to cream or pale yellow, fine, juicy, crisp, sweet and slightly acidic.It is recommended to harvest in late September to early October. In chillers this variety can be kept between 160-200 days, depending on their type. Apple is appreciated for both fresh consumption and for industrial use.
