Gala Buckeye Simmons

This variety is also known as Simmons, because was developed by Simmons family in Peace Valley orchard, USA. The apple is medium size, with smooth yellow-greenish skin combined with with red striations.
Harvesting period is between late August and early September. The variety is very appreciated for fresh consumption and can be stored in cold rooms for more than 180 days. In addition, they are resistant to handling and transporting.
