Campion (Shampion, Champion, Szampion)

This variety was found in the Czech Republic. Apples are medium to large size and spherical shape, slightly tapered. The peel is firm, smooth, yellowish-green, covered with reddish-orange ribbed well expressed, on more than half of the apple. The flesh is fine, juicy, crisp, acidic and creamy yellow color.
The recommended harvest period is from September 15 to 22. The fruit can be kept in the cold room according to the type, between 140 and 190 days. The variety is appreciated for both fresh consumption and for its use in industry.
